How do I create a quote?
On the Quotes page click New Quote, then work through the three-step slide-over: customer and header, line items, then review. Save it as a draft or submit it for approval.
How do I submit a quote, and will it need approval?
Open the draft quote and click Submit for Approval. If the total is within your threshold and every line is at or above list price, the quote is approved automatically. Otherwise it routes to your workspace's approver.
How do I approve or reject a quote waiting on me?
If you're your workspace's quote approver, open the quote from your Approver Inbox (or the notification), review it, and click Approve or Reject. Rejection requires a note.
How do I send a quote and record the customer's response?
On an approved quote, download the PDF and email it yourself, then click Mark as Sent. When the customer replies, record it with Mark customer accepted or Mark customer rejected.
How do I revise a quote?
Open the quote and choose Create revision. This makes a fresh draft (numbered …-R2, -R3, …) carrying the customer's history, which you then edit and submit like any new quote.
How do I convert an accepted quote into a sales order?
On an Accepted quote, click Convert to Sales Order, enter the customer's PO number and date, attach the PO as proof, and click Create Sales Order.
How do I work a sales order from confirm to delivery?
Confirm the draft, record dispatches (capturing serial numbers), download delivery challans, then mark it delivered. Invoices are generated from each dispatch.
