How do I fill in the Field Service Report (FSR)?
What you'll do: Open the job's Job Information tab and fill in the sections as you work. Everything autosaves. Only Work Done and Status after visit are required before you can complete the job.
The sections
The Job Information tab has these accordions:
- Fault & Diagnosis — fault description, root cause, action taken. (Optional.)
- Equipment Readings — label/value/unit rows. (Optional.)
- Site Parameters — the same row style. (Optional.)
- Site Photos — camera photos (see below). (Optional.)
- Work Done — what you did. Required to complete.
- Engineer's Remarks & Recommendation — Status after visit (required to complete) and a recommendation.
Each field saves automatically as you type (you'll see Saving… / Saved ✓), and your edits are kept even if you switch tabs.
Pre-filled templates
For some equipment (like UPS units) the Equipment/Site sections come pre-loaded with standard reading rows to fill in — you just enter the values.
Photos
- Add photos with the camera (gallery picking isn't used here).
- Up to 10 photos per job, and up to 4 chosen for the PDF report (toggle ★ In Report).
- Photos upload in the background and resume if interrupted.
Sharing an interim report
While a job is In Progress, you can tap Generate FSR (title: Generate Field Service Report) to produce an interim report PDF without changing the job's status. It warns you if required fields are still empty but doesn't block you. (This is online-only.)
