Can customers pay invoices online through the portal?
What you'll do: Not yet. The portal shows what's outstanding and a "Payment coming soon" note, but there's no online payment. Customers pay their agency by their usual offline method, and the agency records it.
What customers see
On the portal Invoices page, when something is owed, a banner totals the outstanding amount and shows a Payment coming soon note where a pay button will eventually go. There's no way to pay through the portal today.
How payment actually works
- The customer pays the agency directly (bank transfer, cheque, etc.).
- The agency records the payment against the invoice in BusinessOps360.
- The invoice status updates in the portal to Partially Paid or Paid.
Note: online card/gateway payment in this product is used only for platform subscription billing between the agency and BusinessOps360 — not for a customer paying an agency's invoice.
