Is Service Sales (AMC, PM plans, service-sales quotes) available in the web app?
What you'll do: Not as a dedicated screen. There's currently no Service Sales section in the web workspace. AMC contracts and maintenance plans are managed as back-office/API processes, appear read-only to customers in the portal, and are produced as PDFs. The Service Sales Manager and Executive roles don't yet have their own screens.
What this means today
- If you sign in as a Service Sales Manager or Executive, you land on a placeholder — "Your dashboard is being prepared. Use the navigation to access your modules." — and there are no Service Sales pages to navigate to. Any Service Sales notification links won't open a page.
- AMC contracts and their coverage are visible to your customers in the customer portal (read-only), and both AMC quotes and contracts can be generated as PDFs.
- Contracts don't have a "Renew" or "Expire" button. Expiry happens automatically; renewal is done by raising a new service-sales quote that references the contract.
What to do
Handle Service Sales work through your existing back-office process for now. Your customers can still see their AMC coverage and warranty in the portal — see Your equipment and AMC.
