Why doesn't the "Deactivate" option on a quote do anything?
What you'll do: Deactivating a quote isn't available in this version — the menu item only shows a "coming soon" message. Quotes retire on their own by reaching a terminal status.
What you see
Choosing Deactivate on a quote (from the list menu or the quote's Actions) shows a toast ending in "— coming soon." Nothing is archived or removed.
What to do instead
You don't need to deactivate quotes. A quote naturally retires when it reaches a terminal status:
- Expired — mark it manually expired, or let it auto-expire after its valid-until date.
- Rejected / Customer Rejected — recorded when it's turned down.
- Converted — once it becomes a Sales Order.
Leave old quotes as they are; they stay in your history at their final status. To replace a quote, use Create revision.
